The writers of Girlfriends must have had a feeling of 'deja vu' when they saw the movie Sex And The City. Just like Tony Childs in Girlfriends, Carrie Bradshaw travels to an exotic destination with her friends after she lost the love of her life. But one of the friends is secretly guilty of provoking the break-up. The storylines are so similar that we can't help but wonder if this is where the SATC writers found their inspiration...
