3 lazy tips to lose those extra pounds in January



You've had delicious chocolates, cakes, foie gras, to name a few, during the last two weeks and now that the celebrations are all over, you'd secretly like to lose a few pounds.

But let's admit it, you're too lazy to hit the gym, run in a freezing park or commit a drastic diet like Jennifer Hudson (picture) who slimmed down to a size 10 with Weight Watchers.

No need to go to that extreme, here are 3 tips for all the lazies out there:

  • Eat less in the evening - it would be impossible for most of us to eat tiny portions 365 days a year. But you can have smaller portions during three to four weeks. Or maybe you could replace rice and pastas with salad or vegetables.
  • Reduce fats and sweets - just DON'T buy the tempting biscuits, sweets and New York cheesecakes  for a while. Out of sight, out of mind. And prefer lean meats like chicken breast and turkey.
  • Do your squats 10 minutes a day -  this is the hardest bit. But think about it...   you can do it in your living room (while watching tv).
